Too hot to be digging & too late to be planting
It’s too hot to be outside digging in the dirt
and it’s too late in the season to be planting in the garden.
If you love plants and enjoy the color and life they add to your patio, what to do?
You could build your own containers, or let All Green Thumbs Nursery do it for you.
There are sun loving planters to brighten up every corner of your patio or deck.
Here are two deck barrels we just finished recently. Both love the sun and are ready to move in. They would be happy with their own little sunny corner on the deck. All they need is water and sunshine.
- Yellow & Orange Zinnias with Sweet Potato Vines
- Rose colored Zinnias and Yellow Petunias
The white petunia planters and hanging baskets would love to share the sunny space with the barrels. White petunias on a hot sunny day seems to make things feel cooler, certainly cheerier!
- White & Purple Petunia Planter
- White Petunia Hanging Basket
For a splash of color, there are bright colored Joan Senior Daylilies and Echinacea Powwow’s already potted up, just set them where you want them and don’t forget to water.
The Powwow’s are BYOB (Bring Your Own Bee)!
- Hemerocallis Joan Senior – Daylilies
- Echinacea Powwow
The Hydrangeas and Butterfly Bushes are in bloom and a good size to grow on a patio or deck. They are also a bee and butterfly magnet. Deadheading the Butterfly Bushes will encourage more blooms.
- Hydrangeas
- Butterfly Bush
