Construction of Sun Loving Barrels on a hot July day
The challenge is to create something colorful that will thrive in the South Carolina sun on a patio or deck. The tools are some empty barrels, a lot of soil, colorful sun loving plants and some ideas. The bigger challenge is working in the 90+ degree heat in part-shade!
Start with an empty barrel and an assortment of plants.
Place the first plant and go from there.
Keep adding plants and adjusting.
Looks right & feels right. On to the next.

Second one is easier
Third one comes together quickly.
Finished all 3 in record heat. Now give the all a good drink and clean up the mess.
